When you enroll as a student or subscriber (“learner”) on our site or related courses, as part of the enrolling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name and email address.
Email marketing: we may send you emails about our site and related course(s), registration, course content, your course progress or other updates. We may also use your email contact information to inform you about changes to the course, survey you about your usage, or collect your opinion.
Yoga at the Space Website
When you visit our main site www.yogaatthespace.com we automatically collect certain data such as standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns using a third-party service called Google Analytics. This is to understand how our visitors use the site. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. Newsletter sign up
We collect personal information as part of the newsletter signup process. We do that so we can tell you about events, workshops, retreats or classes that you’ve asked to find out more about. We collect names, email address and standard preferences (what you’d like to hear more about) in order to tailor our newsletter to your interests. You can update this information at any time. Please email us with your request and we will action this for you. From time to time, we may also use email newsletters to contact you if we need more information from you, to check if our records are right and maybe also to request feedback on our classes, retreats, workshops and events. We do not share our mailing list with any other organisations or businesses. Our email newsletters are created and delivered to mailing list recipients using MailChimp, which is a third-party service provider. Information such as the number of emails opened, clickthroughs are collected using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our email campaigns. You are allowed to access the personal information we hold about you. You can also ask that we correct or delete this information. 5. Thinkific
We use a secure, third-party platform to host our online courses. Our course and site is hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific®"). They provide us with the online course creation platform that allow us to sell our product/services to you. Your data is stored through Thinkific’s data storage, databases and the general Thinkific application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

6. Payment:
If you make a purchase on our site, we use a third party payment processor such as Stripe or Paypal. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
